I did not try this option, but just noting it here in case someone is benefited by this info. He mentioned that cost to Centro using this option would be around 400 pesos. At the said station, Uber/Didi or other taxis are available freely. It takes around 15 minutes, and carrying luggage on the bus it not a problem. The very kind gentleman informed me that it is possible to take a Mexibus out of that terminal, and get to the Glorieta Militar station (third stop) on the bus. Third - there is a tourist information kiosk at the exit area. Took us little more than an hour, half of it possibly spent covering the last 2 km in Centro. Taxi was available within 5 minutes, and the driver spoke passable English. Rates to Centro was around 700 pesos, and I did not have luck trying to bargain with them, using my pre-rudimentary Spanish.

However, there are multiple taxi stalls before the exit gates that can arrange a taxi for you. Second - Uber/Didi does not work at this airport, as other posters have already commented.

We flex from Cancun to NLU/AIFA (Felipe Ángeles International Airport) airport for Mexico city on Volaris in July 2023.įirst observation - on the display board, the departure city showed the destination as Santa Lucia, not Mexico city! So be prepared to be surprised! So, I wish to add my 2 cents, hoping it will help someone in the future. I had searched for transportation options out of the new Mexico City Santa Lucia NLU airport, but did not find a definitive answer in the forums.
